the need to observe yourself

What is the need to observe.
Before I tell you to do something.
Let me tell you this with a simple example.
Do we know that how do we came to know our universe ,I am talking about the physical universe.

There were scientists who used to observe the sky . Sit for long hours and watch the movement of stellar bodies. And then through artificial eyes of telescope they watched. They just kept observing .

Thanks to our scientists now in the time to come we may plan our summer  vacations for a trip to one of the nine planets depending on majority.

We also know human physiological body.

We must have heard of miachelangelo and Leonardo whose sculptures depict every single nerve of the body leave alone blood capillaries and muscles. They had dissected human body. After thorough study they understood human physiology in detail.

Now lets go to medicine. Thanks to all the doctors and scientists who did immense research work and now we have cure for all kinds of human physiological problems. We have reduced the level of pain. We can refer to any doctor  and get the requisite medicines. Doctors and researchers had studied human bodies and tried to figure out how  human body works. They could see patterns and movements in human body and came out with abundant knowledge which is helping mankind today.

But when it comes to our daily life. Our daily fears, daily sorrows, our daily pain, our relationships with others we can't go to doctors. And though they have come with pain killers but they don't have sorrow killers, fear killers, anger killers. We don't have doctors for that. So we need  to become observer and self doctors to these "illnesses".

So this is why I went through observation and the need to observe.

Self observation requires energy. People often don't pursue it before they find some serious problems in their life. But only after one of my friends who really took it seriously and I can see the level of happiness he enjoys today. I am not the first person to talk about it but I can say confidently one of those who make this very simple to understand yet interesting.

I will tell you what does it actually mean to observe yourself.

Observation simply implies knowing yourself.
Knowing yourself at the very fundamental level.

I will try to give you  a little glimpse of what it is actually to observe ones thoughts.

One should watch their thoughts.
By posing questions on yourself asking what is this and how does this happens.
For example "what are thoughts and why does it happen that when I have my exams , my interview I feel afraid, its painful and what is pain?"  I think I have made myself little clear about what I mean to say.

I have some questions which I am still seeking answers.
1.why is it that we are caught in opposites. We keep swinging say from happiness to sorrow?
2. What I am here for. I see everybody around me trying to fulfil their lives till the time they are alive.
3.

Sorry if I had made the idea to U that you would resemble one ofwould the holy monks. No not at all.

Observations implies

wayching your thoughts.
Underatanding your emotions.
living your life with greater heights of joy.
Understanding the reasons of sorrow and fear just by looking and watching yourself.
We human hold a lot of mystery which needs to be unveiled only for the sake of one own happiness.
it is very simple. Just by constantly looking at oneself. If you are happy watch yourself being happy. And ask yourself what it is to be happy.

If you are sad be sad but at the same time watch yourself getting sad. Try to understand what is sadness .what caused it. Dnt say I had a fight with my friend and that's why I am sad. Don't into the petty reasons and don't analy,e whT went wrong. But see and question why does this fight makes you sad. .  Dnt judge it. Whether you should be sad by ut or not. See the fact and understand whAt is it

And slowly you would be able to see the the larger pattern of you yourself.

One can understand what is what.
One can completely understand ones emotions and will come to see new facts which would be much more than intersting.

One would become much more emotionally advanced, intellectually advanced.
All this treasure lies within us and we need to develop the art of watching which would happen with continuous practice.
